Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and manage product profiles and technical documentation, ensuring alignment with production and quality standards.
  • Compile and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product, managing technical and logistical data in PLM systems.
  • Support product costing activities by monitoring material and labor costs to achieve target cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with industrialization, purchasing, and production departments, ensuring effective communication with suppliers and resolving potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and brand-specific standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development for leather goods.
  • Experience in creating and managing coding systems and BOM compilation.
  • Knowledge of costing dynamics and pre-costing estimates.
  • Familiarity with leather materials and processing techniques.

Skills

Attention to detail and precision in managing technical data and product specifications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with cross-functional teams. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment. Proficiency in PLM software and Stealth. Good command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience

A minimum of 3 years in product development within the leather goods sector is required.
