Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire product development cycle for knitwear, including prototyping, sampling, fitting, and production release.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure alignment with creative visions.
  • Select yarns and suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, timeliness, and feasibility.
  • Participate actively in fittings to ensure product excellence.
  • Coordinate and manage the dedicated team effectively.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and monitor the progress of samples.
  • Support cost analysis and margin assessments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in knitwear product development, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.

Skills

Strong technical expertise in yarns, knitting techniques, production processes, and knitting machinery. Proficiency in cost estimation and production timeline analysis. Excellent knowledge of PLM systems and Stealth 3000. Fluent in English; proficiency in French is advantageous. Willingness to travel. Exceptional collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, and flexibility.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years in knitwear product development within the luxury fashion industry is required.
