Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the finishing department, including brushing, trimming, finishing, cleaning, polishing, ironing, specific treatments, and final inspection.
  • Plan daily activities according to production schedules and priorities.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with modeling, assembly, stitching, and quality departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Verify the correct execution of treatments on leather, including effects, colors, and finishes.
  • Manage and train department personnel.
  • Oversee the proper use of machinery, equipment, and products.
  • Monitor defects and propose improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in footwear finishing department with technical expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials (leathers, soles, accessories) and finishing treatments.
  • Proficiency in using finishing machinery (brushers, polishers, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Organizational and personnel management skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to manage urgent situations.
