Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post recurring journal entries, including accruals, cost allocations, and stock devaluation.
  • Manage monthly closing activities such as COGS, stock reconciliation, and FX revaluation.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in GL reconciliations and monthly closing packages.
  • Support the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
  • Analyze variances between actuals and plans, providing detailed insights on key performance drivers.
  • Assist in cash flow projections, operating expense analysis, and profitability reviews.
  • Develop and enhance reporting templates to improve visibility of financial performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions to connect accounting insights with operational objectives.
  • Prepare management reports on sales, cost structure, and profitability trends.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring accounting and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in GL or FP&A roles.
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, and monthly closing procedures.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent. Fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience

3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for GL or FP&A roles.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
