Finance Controlling Specialist

Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and post recurring journal entries, including accruals, cost allocations, and stock devaluation.
- Manage monthly closing activities such as COGS, stock reconciliation, and FX revaluation.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in GL reconciliations and monthly closing packages.
- Support the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
- Analyze variances between actuals and plans, providing detailed insights on key performance drivers.
- Assist in cash flow projections, operating expense analysis, and profitability reviews.
- Develop and enhance reporting templates to improve visibility of financial performance.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to connect accounting insights with operational objectives.
- Prepare management reports on sales, cost structure, and profitability trends.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring accounting and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in GL or FP&A roles.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, and monthly closing procedures.
