Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble and finish watch cases and related components to exacting technical drawings and work instructions.
- Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections at each production stage; document and escalate non‑conformities.
- Support after‑sales operations by preparing and reassembling customer service cases and ensuring traceability of service parts.
- Operate precision hand tools, micrometers and magnification equipment; maintain calibrated tooling and a clean workstation.
- Complete production and service documentation, update order status, and coordinate with customer service and repair teams to meet turnaround targets.
- Adhere to safety, compliance and internal quality standards (e.g., cleanliness, ESD and handling protocols).
Qualifications
- Vocational training in watchmaking (CFC), micro‑mechanics, or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Demonstrable fine motor skills and excellent manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to work to tight tolerances and production targets.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures precisely.
- Reliable team player with disciplined time management and good documentation practices.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years of hands‑on experience in micro‑mechanical or precision assembly, ideally within watchmaking or a related high‑precision industry. Experience supporting after‑sales or service workflows is advantageous.
Education
Vocational diploma in watchmaking, micro‑mechanics or an equivalent technical apprenticeship; candidates with relevant on‑the‑job experience will also be considered.
