OMEGA seeks a Boutique Director in Bern to lead boutique operations, sales and client relations at OMEGA Boutique Bern.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all boutique operations to deliver outstanding client service and achieve sales and profitability targets.
  • Manage, coach and develop boutique staff; recruit and build a high-performing team aligned with brand standards.
  • Own P&L accountability for the store: monitor sales performance, control costs and optimise inventory turnover.
  • Implement and maintain OMEGA visual merchandising standards and ensure compliance with corporate retail guidelines.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with VIP and prospective clients through bespoke clienteling and CRM processes.
  • Coordinate local marketing, events and product launches in collaboration with regional management and brand marketing.
  • Ensure accurate stock control, shrinkage prevention and adherence to security and regulatory procedures.
  • Prepare regular management reports and analyse KPIs to drive continuous performance improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in luxury retail with demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a multi-disciplined boutique team.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing store-level P&L.
  • Deep product knowledge of high-end watches or equivalent luxury goods, with an aptitude for technical product storytelling.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and experience using retail reporting tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with polished client-facing presence and event-hosting capability.
  • Fluency in German and strong command of English; additional languages are advantageous.

Experience

Extensive experience in luxury retail, typically 5+ years with at least 2 years in a managerial or store-director capacity; prior exposure to watches or premium leather goods preferred.

Education

Tertiary education in business, retail or hospitality is preferred; a strong equivalent background in luxury retail will be accepted.
