Officine Universelle Buly (LVMH) seeks a Senior Controller in Paris — hybrid role reporting to the CFO, leading budgeting, P&L and BI across international subsidiaries.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and animate the annual budgeting process and subsequent reforecasts for all subsidiaries and the global entity (Buly Monde).
  • Control, analyse and challenge actuals (net sales, P&L and balance sheet on a quarterly basis) for each subsidiary, identify variances versus prior year and latest forecast, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Design, implement and maintain the KPI framework required to monitor subsidiary and channel performance.
  • Monitor performance across all distribution channels for each market and deliver ad hoc profitability analyses to inform strategic decisions.
  • Act as the financial business partner to the commercial team responsible for Wholesale activities.
  • Review and analyse investment proposals (notably boutique openings) and track post‑investment performance.
  • Coordinate pricing policy decisions in collaboration with commercial and executive stakeholders.
  • Participate in the development and rollout of new BI tools and reporting capabilities.
  • Line manage a management controller and a finance intern, providing coaching and quality control.
  • Maintain regular interactions with international subsidiaries (notably Japan) and provide decision support to General Management and the Finance Directorate.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school or equivalent in Finance/Accounting.
  • 4–5 years minimum in audit and/or management controlling within an international group.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong business orientation with proven capacity to influence commercial stakeholders.
  • Comfort with transformation and optimisation projects and an appetite for entrepreneurial environments.
  • Highly rigorous, autonomous and adaptable with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report.

Experience

Minimum five years’ professional experience, including 4–5 years in audit and/or management control within an international group, with demonstrated exposure to budgeting, P&L oversight and BI projects. Prior experience supporting commercial/wholesale teams and supervising junior staff is required.

Education

Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
