Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to high-value and new clients across the Osaka sales catchment to maximise conversion and lifetime value.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of Panerai collections, movements and complications to present technical details confidently and accurately.
- Proactively build and manage a client portfolio using clienteling techniques and follow-up to cultivate repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve and report against individual and boutique sales targets and support store performance initiatives.
- Execute boutique visual merchandising and window displays to brand standards and ensure inventory integrity, including stock rotation and receiving.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, manage sales documentation and support after‑sales service enquiries.
- Support boutique events, private appointments and collaborations to expand brand visibility and client engagement.
- Collaborate with store colleagues and regional teams to share market feedback and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Fluent Japanese; professional working knowledge of English preferred.
- Proven customer-facing experience in luxury retail or watch/jewellery sales; boutique experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable record of meeting sales targets and developing client relationships.
- Polished interpersonal manner, strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays; legal right to work in Japan.
- High attention to detail, reliability and ability to maintain brand standards under pressure.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in luxury retail or watch/jewellery sales is required; boutique-level client advisory experience and a history of meeting sales targets are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or luxury sales is an asset.
