Sales Consultant
Moynat seeks a Sales Consultant at Harrods in London to build client relationships and drive luxury leather-goods sales.
Overview
Moynat is a historic Parisian maison specialising in handcrafted leather goods and trunks, recognised for its couture approach to luxury luggage and accessories. Operated within the Fashion & Leather Goods business group of LVMH, the house combines artisanal savoir-faire with contemporary retail ambitions and global brand development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador by embodying Moynat’s DNA, appearance guidelines and standards of service in all client interactions.
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client journey: welcome clients, educate them about the brand, build and maintain long-term relationships and grow a client book.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through consultative selling, cross-sell and upsell of complementary products.
- Capture and maintain accurate CRM records to support client development and future outreach.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards on the selling floor, ensuring the boutique reflects the brand image and VM guidelines.
- Process transactions professionally and securely while adhering to company policies and point-of-sale procedures.
- Support inventory control and stock management, including receipts, transfers and basic reconciliation tasks.
- Keep product knowledge current through regular research and trend awareness to inform client recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales within a luxury or high-fashion retail environment.
- Proven experience selling ready-to-wear and/or leather goods.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and familiarity with Retail KPIs.
- Excellent personal presentation and professional demeanour consistent with a luxury brand ambassador.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong customer-focus with a passion for fashion and luxury retail.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ hands-on sales experience in luxury retail, with direct exposure to selling ready-to-wear and leather-goods in a boutique environment and demonstrable achievement against sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or formal retail/luxury sales certification preferred.
