Role & Responsibilities
- Train in the manufacture, maintenance and repair of precision tools, jigs and fixtures used in production.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools (milling, turning) to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications; perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers and gauges.
- Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and production equipment.
- Participate in the dual vocational training program, combining on-the-job training at the workshop with attendance at vocational school.
Qualifications
- Secondary-school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent; completion of compulsory schooling with technical orientation is acceptable.
- Strong manual dexterity, spatial awareness and interest in metalworking and precision mechanics.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and willingness to learn CNC operation and tooling technologies.
- Reliable work ethic, team orientation and readiness to attend vocational school as part of the apprenticeship.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous school internships or hobby experience in metalworking or technical subjects is advantageous.
Education
Completion of compulsory schooling; vocational school attendance as part of the German dual apprenticeship (Berufsschule) is required during the training period.
