Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique operations and manage a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and execute high‑touch clienteling strategies to cultivate, retain and expand a portfolio of VIP and prospective clients.
  • Coach, mentor and deliver ongoing training on product knowledge, selling techniques and service standards specific to Montblanc’s categories (writing instruments, leather goods, watches, accessories).
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving processes and loss-prevention procedures to protect margin and availability.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and ensure boutique presentation aligns with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage local marketing initiatives and in‑store events to drive traffic and brand visibility in the catchment area.
  • Analyse sales performance and produce regular reports; translate data into action plans for assortment, staffing and promotions.
  • Ensure flawless point-of-sale execution, CRM utilisation and accurate administrative processes (cash handling, daily reconciliation, reporting).

Qualifications

  • Proven managerial experience in luxury retail, with demonstrable success hitting sales targets and developing teams.
  • Deep product knowledge or demonstrable aptitude to master Montblanc categories: writing instruments, leather goods and watches.
  • Exceptional client service and clienteling skills, including experience managing VIP relationships and appointment selling.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management capabilities; able to motivate a multicultural sales team.
  • High level of commercial acumen including KPI analysis, inventory management and basic P&L awareness.
  • Professional presentation and polished communication skills; bilingualism (English/Spanish) preferred given location.

Experience
