Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily boutique operations and manage a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Develop and execute high‑touch clienteling strategies to cultivate, retain and expand a portfolio of VIP and prospective clients.
- Coach, mentor and deliver ongoing training on product knowledge, selling techniques and service standards specific to Montblanc’s categories (writing instruments, leather goods, watches, accessories).
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving processes and loss-prevention procedures to protect margin and availability.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and ensure boutique presentation aligns with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
- Manage local marketing initiatives and in‑store events to drive traffic and brand visibility in the catchment area.
- Analyse sales performance and produce regular reports; translate data into action plans for assortment, staffing and promotions.
- Ensure flawless point-of-sale execution, CRM utilisation and accurate administrative processes (cash handling, daily reconciliation, reporting).
Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience in luxury retail, with demonstrable success hitting sales targets and developing teams.
- Deep product knowledge or demonstrable aptitude to master Montblanc categories: writing instruments, leather goods and watches.
- Exceptional client service and clienteling skills, including experience managing VIP relationships and appointment selling.
- Strong leadership, coaching and performance‑management capabilities; able to motivate a multicultural sales team.
- High level of commercial acumen including KPI analysis, inventory management and basic P&L awareness.
- Professional presentation and polished communication skills; bilingualism (English/Spanish) preferred given location.

Experience
Typically 4+ years in luxury retail sales with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; proven track record in achieving sales targets and delivering luxury service standards.
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
