Montblanc seeks a Sales Associate in Brussels to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to high‑value clients and cultivate long‑term relationships through proactive clienteling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets while maximising average transaction value and conversion rates.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across writing instruments, leather goods, watches and accessories to advise clients accurately.
  • Execute merchandising and visual display standards to reflect brand aesthetics and seasonal directives.
  • Manage point‑of‑sale transactions, stock control, receiving procedures and periodic inventory reconciliations.
  • Update and maintain client records and CRM notes to support follow‑up, private appointments and after‑sales care.
  • Support in‑store events, trunk shows and private viewings; collaborate with store management on local promotional activities.
  • Ensure luxury service standards in packaging, presentation and after‑sales support, including repairs and warranty procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in retail sales, preferably within luxury goods or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, client‑centric demeanour and high emotional intelligence.
  • Commercially minded with demonstrated ability to meet sales KPIs and contribute to team targets.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards, with attention to detail aligned to premium brand expectations.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and occasional events.
  • Local market knowledge and multilingual ability are advantageous given Brussels’ multilingual clientele.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of direct sales experience in luxury retail, premium boutiques or high‑end customer service environments; candidates with a demonstrable history of meeting sales targets and building client portfolios are preferred.

Secondary education; vocational training or diploma in retail, sales, hospitality or a related discipline is advantageous.
