Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised shopping experience to high-value and walk-in clients, embodying Montblanc’s standards of service and brand etiquette.
  • Proactively generate sales and meet or exceed individual and boutique KPIs through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Develop and maintain a client portfolio through follow-ups, appointment management and CRM-driven outreach.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across writing instruments, leather goods, timepieces and accessories to advise clients and close transactions.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards, boutique presentation and stock replenishment to maintain a luxurious and orderly environment.
  • Operate POS systems, process transactions accurately and manage cash handling and reconciliation according to internal controls.
  • Support boutique operations including receiving deliveries, inventory control, returns management and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Collaborate with boutique team and management on events, product launches and seasonal campaigns to maximise footfall and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales aptitude; prior experience in luxury goods or premium retail preferred.
  • Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage sophisticated client interactions.
  • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
  • Right to work in France and compliance with local labour requirements.
  • Professional appearance and fluency in spoken French and English.

Experience

Preferably 1–3 years of retail sales experience, ideally within luxury or premium brands, with demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.

Education

Secondary school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; vocational training in retail or luxury retail a plus.
