Montblanc Paris is hiring a Retail Trainee (Work-Study) — alternance position in Paris with Richemont Retail Génération.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily boutique operations including sales, client welcoming and the upkeep of presentation standards.
  • Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow‑up.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and window presentation to ensure alignment with brand directives.
  • Manage inventory tasks: receiving, stock reconciliation, replenishment and basic loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Process transactions and after‑sales service using the boutique point-of-sale system, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Participate in Richemont Retail Génération training modules and on‑the‑job learning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Current enrolment in a recognised tertiary program in Business, Luxury Management, Retail, Marketing or a related discipline (work‑study / alternance track).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client‑centric attitude and polished professional presence.
  • High levels of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced retail setting.
  • Legal entitlement to work in France for the duration of the alternance contract.
  • Willingness to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to commit to a structured learning plan.

Experience

No specific prior professional experience is required; previous customer service or retail exposure will be considered an asset. The role is designed as a learning position within a structured work‑study programme.
