Montblanc is hiring a Merchandiser, Europe in Hamburg — lead assortment planning, forecasting and regional commercial execution for the luxury brand.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the European merchandise assortment and range architecture to meet brand positioning, margin and sell-through objectives.
- Produce seasonal product allocations, stock plans and replenishment strategies across channels (own stores, wholesale, e‑commerce) to optimise inventory and availability.
- Generate sales and inventory forecasts, monitor performance against KPIs and recommend corrective actions to maximise sell‑through and gross margin.
- Define pricing, promotional and markdown strategies in coordination with commercial and finance stakeholders to protect margin and market positioning.
- Collaborate with buying, design, supply chain and marketing teams to translate collection strategies into actionable merchandising plans and launch schedules.
- Drive weekly/monthly reporting and insight packs for regional leadership, utilising sell‑in, sell‑out and inventory data to inform decisions.
- Support product lifecycle management including introductions, replenishments and end‑of‑life processes across European markets.
- Serve as a regional point of contact for country teams, providing merchandising guidance, training and retail execution support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven merchandise planning experience within the luxury, fashion or accessories sector, preferably with European market exposure.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive sell‑through and margin improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable working with numerical data and presenting commercial recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; fluent business English is expected.

Experience
Several years (typically 3–6+) of progressive merchandising or merchandise planning experience in luxury fashion, accessories or watches, with demonstrable responsibility for regional assortments, forecasting and inventory control across multiple channels and markets.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Economics or equivalent professional qualification.
