Montblanc is hiring a Master Data Specialist in Scandicci, Italy — responsible for product master data governance, ERP/PIM management and cross‑functional data quality.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate product master data across ERP and PIM systems, ensuring completeness, consistency and timely updates for new product introductions and assortments.
  • Define and enforce data governance rules, validation checks and naming conventions to improve data quality and reduce SKU errors across channels.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, operations and IT to align item creation, classification, costing and lifecycle changes with business requirements.
  • Support system integrations and data feeds (ERP ↔ PIM ↔ eCommerce/Wholesale), participating in testing, troubleshooting and migration activities.
  • Produce regular data quality reports and KPIs; drive corrective actions and process improvements to reduce exceptions and rework.
  • Train and advise regional teams and business users on master data best practices and usage of master data tools.

Qualifications

  • Proven technical and process knowledge of master data management and data governance in a retail, luxury goods or consumer products environment.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with merchandising, supply chain, IT and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes, create validation rules and implement corrective actions across distributed teams.
  • Fluent business-level written and verbal communication skills appropriate for cross-functional stakeholder management.

Experience

Approximately 3+ years of hands-on experience in master data or product data roles, preferably within fashion, luxury goods, retail or consumer packaged goods; experience with ERP and PIM implementations is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Management or a related discipline; relevant professional training or certifications in MDM/PIM are an advantage.
