Montblanc is hiring an HR Business Partner in Hamburg to lead strategic HR initiatives and support business leaders.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to assigned business units and senior leaders, translating business priorities into HR strategies and operational plans.
  • Drive talent management activities including succession planning, high-potential identification and development programmes.
  • Counsel managers on performance management, compensation calibration, promotion decisions and organisational design.
  • Manage employee relations matters with discretion and rigour; ensure compliance with German labour law and company policies.
  • Lead or support change-management projects and workforce planning initiatives to enable business transformation.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract and onboard high-calibre talent aligned with the brand's standards.
  • Provide HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure effectiveness of people programs.
  • Partner with global HR centres of excellence (compensation, learning, mobility) to implement consistent practices locally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline; master’s degree or recognised HR certification preferred.
  • Professional knowledge of German labour law and experience working with works councils or employee representative bodies.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a matrixed, international environment; luxury retail, fashion or consumer goods exposure advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills with senior leaders.
  • High level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive people matters.

Experience

Typically 3–5+ years of progressive HR business partnering experience within international or matrix organisations; experience in luxury retail, fashion or consumer-facing businesses is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) preferred.
