Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the global learning & development strategy for retail and wholesale teams in alignment with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Design, deploy and continuously improve instructor-led and digital training programs (product knowledge, sales methodology, clienteling, visual merchandising and compliance).
  • Lead, coach and develop a small team of trainers and external facilitators; establish train‑the‑trainer curricula and quality standards.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) content lifecycle, user adoption and reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with regional retail leadership, HR and product teams to launch new product trainings, store initiatives and onboarding programs.
  • Define KPIs for training impact (sales conversion, average transaction value, product mix) and deliver regular performance analyses and recommendations.
  • Oversee budget planning for training activities, external vendors and vendor selection for e‑learning development.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in learning & development within luxury retail or premium consumer goods.
  • Demonstrable expertise designing blended learning solutions (classroom, e‑learning, microlearning and coaching).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing retail, HR and commercial partners.
  • Ability to translate brand values and product craftsmanship into compelling learning experiences.
  • Experience managing an LMS and partnering with external instructional designers or agencies.

Experience

Typically requires 5+ years of progressive experience in retail learning & development, preferably within the luxury sector, including at least 2 years in a managerial role responsible for designing and delivering global or multi‑market training programmes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related discipline; advanced degree or L&D certifications preferred.
