Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable operations for the assigned country, ensuring delivery against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Process vendor and inter‑company invoices and T&E claims, applying company policies and performing appropriate validations.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs, enforce payment terms and maintain cash control procedures.
  • Perform month‑end AP closing activities including accruals, provisions and account reconciliations.
  • Respond to and resolve vendor inquiries and payment issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for AP transactions.
  • Monitor aged payables, analyse payment trends and produce ad hoc reports to inform management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations related to AP transactions, including VAT and withholding tax.
  • Participate in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including requirements definition, change impact assessment and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on invoice submission processes and AP requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Accounts Payable experience.
  • Relevant finance/accounting experience within sizeable, complex or multicultural organisations preferred.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Korean is required.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP B1 and/or SAP ECC.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem‑solving capability.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Knowledge of VAT, withholding tax and statutory AP reporting requirements.
  • Experience participating in UAT and supporting digital/process change initiatives.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience; ideally gained in large, multicultural or complex business environments with exposure to ERP platforms (preferably SAP B1/ECC) and month‑end close processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
