Moët Hennessy France seeks an On‑Trade Territory Sales Apprentice in Bayonne (Nouvelle‑Aquitaine) for a two‑year apprenticeship covering Pays Basque, Landes and south Gironde.

Overview

Moët Hennessy France is the national distribution network for the Wines & Spirits division of LVMH. Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial presence across the assigned territory (Pays Basque, Landes, south Gironde) through regular field visits to bars, restaurants, CHD distributors and gastronomic accounts.
  • Secure listings and expand distribution of the portfolio’s Champagne, wine and spirits brands within on‑trade and specialist channels.
  • Support market‑share growth initiatives and execute regional and national commercial actions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients; accompany key gastronomic customers and prepare seasonal plans (summer, year‑end) with the tutor/manager.
  • Participate in negotiations with wholesalers and support implementation of commercial promotions and merchandising activities to maximise product visibility.
  • Ensure execution of activation programmes, assortment recommendations and in‑store/display standards across points of sale.
  • Collect and report market intelligence: competitor activity, local dynamics and seasonal trends; contribute to tailored offering development for peak periods (e.g., holidays).

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in first or second year of a Master’s in Commerce, Sales, Business or equivalent (apprenticeship curriculum).
  • Valid French Category B driving licence (Permis B) — mandatory.
  • Strong local anchorage and familiarity with the economic and cultural fabric of the Pays Basque / Landes region.
  • Keen interest or sensitivity to gastronomy, hospitality and the wines & spirits universe.
  • Commercial appetite for fieldwork, prospection and client relationship building.
  • Rigour, curiosity and a demonstrable desire to learn from experienced sales professionals.

Experience
