Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial relationships with off-trade accounts (GMS and specialist wine retailers) across the assigned territory, ensuring portfolio coverage and sustained business development.
  • Drive sales performance by analysing key commercial indicators, implementing action plans and meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.
  • Secure and expand product listings and in-store presence, negotiating placements and additional references with store managers and category leads.
  • Deploy strategic merchandising and trade-marketing activations in-store to elevate brand visibility and deliver a premium customer experience.
  • Plan and execute targeted promotional campaigns in alignment with regional director and headquarters, securing optimal execution at point of sale.
  • Prospect new off-trade accounts within the sector and convert opportunities to grow market share.
  • Act as a brand ambassador: develop deep product knowledge, provide product training and commercial support to retail partners.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity, report insights and recommend opportunities for commercial and operational improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with general sales conditions and internal processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven commercial experience, ideally in wines & spirits, FMCG or retail sales.
  • Valid French driving licence (Permis B) required.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with retail buyers and deliver national/regional merchandising plans.
  • Strong analytical capability to monitor KPIs and translate data into concrete action plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering product training.

Experience

Minimum 3 years' successful experience in a commercial sales role, preferably within wines & spirits, FMCG or retail distribution channels.

Education

Bac+2 / Bachelor's degree in business, sales or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in commercial roles.
