Moët Hennessy seeks a National Account Manager in London to manage Waitrose, M&S and Booths accounts, leading commercial plans and brand activations.

Overview

Moët Hennessy is the wines & spirits division of the LVMH Group, representing a portfolio of premium and luxury maisons. The business combines heritage brands with a global commercial organisation, operating across trade, marketing and supply-chain functions to build long‑term brand equity in on‑ and off‑trade channels.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a customer strategy and annual commercial plan for Waitrose, M&S and Booths to meet volume, margin, pricing and profit targets.
  • Manage monthly and annual sales forecasting and update customer account plans using agreed commercial planning systems.
  • Protect and expand distribution for Moët Hennessy brands within the designated retailers and channel segments (including online and convenience).
  • Develop and negotiate Joint Business Plans; track performance versus plan and manage customer investment (FTT) and promotional ROI.
  • Analyse customer sell‑out and competitor data using customer EPOS systems and brand view reports; complete pre/post evaluations of promotional activity.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional support from category, marketing and supply teams to deliver agreed commercial and service objectives.
  • Support trade marketing and the customer media planner in planning, booking and executing media spend and in‑store activations.
  • Oversee online platform optimisation, drive digital merchandising and sales growth, and collaborate on compelling visual merchandising displays.
  • Ensure timely commercial administration (pricing, new line set up, invoices) and enable effective credit management with finance.
  • Deliver product education and tasting events as required and represent the business at customer trade briefings and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG national account management or equivalent grocery retail experience.
  • Proven P&L management experience and commercial acumen in retail or wholesale environments.
  • Experience of managing major retailers and negotiating Joint Business Plans.
  • Experience of the online retail channel and digital trade activation.
  • Blue‑chip FMCG sales training or equivalent commercial background preferred.
  • Full driving licence (UK) required.
  • WSET qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Strong negotiation, numeracy and stakeholder‑management skills; excellent communicator and relationship builder.

Experience

Minimum five years' experience in FMCG national account management with demonstrable exposure to managing major grocery customers, P&L responsibility and online retail channels; prior work with premium or luxury brands is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; WSET qualification is desirable but not essential.
