Cellar Operative
Moët & Chandon in Épernay seeks a Cellar Operative (CDD) to support production, stock management and quality control in the Champagne cellars.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Supply production lines according to stock management rules: review daily programmes, provision components (wine, glassware) and maintain material cleanliness.
- Execute manual production tasks or independent site work, using simple handling equipment as required.
- Provide hands-on support to operators and machinists during production incidents (excluding interventions inside machinery).
- Perform regular checks of executed work, verify component references against scheduling and instructions, and escalate non-conformities.
- Ensure strict identification and traceability of lots and cuvées for finished and semi-finished products.
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment and comply with self-check and control instructions.
Qualifications
- CACES 3 certification required (CACES 1 if applicable).
- Ability to work day shifts or in 2x7 rotating teams; available for assignments across Moët & Chandon sites in Épernay.
- Physically fit for manual handling and cellar work; comfortable working in underground cellar environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to traceability and quality procedures.
- Good communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a production team.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level (Débutant). Prior experience in production, logistics or cellar operations is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Education
Secondary education; vocational training in logistics, production or cellar operations is a plus.
