Area Manager — Palma de Mallorca
Moët Hennessy seeks an Area Manager in Palma de Mallorca, Spain — Temporary hybrid role to grow distribution and on‑trade business for its Wines & Spirits portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define, implement and monitor commercial plans for all Moët Hennessy brands in Mallorca across on‑trade, off‑trade and other channels in line with corporate strategy and financial guidelines.
- Develop and secure the optimal route‑to‑market by selecting and managing local distributors while growing key image accounts to maximise distribution and volumes.
- Drive annual quantitative and qualitative objectives, proposing strategies to expand distribution and reach volume targets.
- Conduct regular market analysis and gather competitive intelligence (sales, stocks, retail prices, promotions, KPIs) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Maintain a disciplined call cycle: visit existing direct and indirect customers and proactively identify potential on‑trade accounts.
- Negotiate annual agreements, temporary promotions and bespoke commercial plans with distributors and key customers.
- Ensure correct application of pricing policy by brand and channel and deliver timely, accurate KPI reporting (volumes, profitability, risks/opportunities).
- Control brand visibility and in‑store/on‑trade image in accordance with brand guidelines; act as a local Brand Ambassador with emphasis on brand education and prescription.
- Maintain up‑to‑date tracking documents: sales estimates, P&L for key customers, investment levels, agreements, monthly reports and action plans.
- Manage assigned budgets (T&E and FTT/A&P investments) and maintain regular contact with the Regional Manager and other Area Managers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar commercial/area management role, ideally within the Wines & Spirits sector in Spain.
- Fluent Spanish and English; working knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Proven negotiation and presentation skills with commercial acumen and a results orientation.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic agility and operational excellence; ability to build business plans and translate strategy into execution.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and multitasking capabilities; comfortable managing budgets and P&L.

Experience
Minimum 3 years in a commercial or area/regional sales role within the Wines & Spirits sector, with demonstrable experience developing distributors and managing key accounts in the Spanish market.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
