Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist legal professionals in managing the brand portfolio, including Champagne and other wines and spirits brands, focusing on protection and defense in pre-litigation and litigation contexts.
  • Provide counsel to internal departments such as marketing and development, in collaboration with external partners like Intellectual Property Consultants and Attorneys worldwide.
  • Participate in managing administrative and judicial pre-litigation and litigation globally, including oppositions and imitation cases.
  • Contribute to the validation of marketing projects for various houses.
  • Assist in compiling evidence of use and notoriety dossiers.
  • Support the protection and defense of brands on the internet.
  • Aid in updating the database and archiving files.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Intellectual/Industrial Property (CEIPI).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, as 80% of tasks will be conducted in this language.

Skills

Strong listening and communication skills, with proficiency in oral and written expression. Attention to detail and ability to respond promptly. Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and adaptability.

Experience

Previous experience in intellectual property within a law firm, IP consultancy, or equivalent corporate role is appreciated, particularly in an international context.

Education

Master's degree in Intellectual/Industrial Property (CEIPI).
