Role & Responsibilities

  • Characterize and identify key indicators to measure the impact of climate change on raw materials.
  • Understand the dynamics underlying observed changes in raw materials.
  • Propose scenarios for professionals to enable medium and long-term action planning.
  • Integrate and standardize a significant set of metadata from analytical and sensory data collected over upcoming vintages.
  • Collaborate with a technological platform for metabolomic analyses and ensure data quality and traceability.
  • Develop multivariate analysis methods and advanced AI techniques to identify biomarkers reflecting climate change effects.
  • Construct mathematical models for potential evolution of physico-chemical and oenological properties.
  • Develop new spectroscopic indicators of raw material quality using chemometric methods.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Chemometrics.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools for data mining and modeling.
  • Experience in database manipulation and programming with R, Python, C++, and SQL.
  • Autonomous and capable of working in a multidisciplinary scientific environment.
  • Curiosity and active participation in methodological choices.
  • Rigor, responsiveness, and ability to synthesize and report work progress.
  • Strong writing skills for protocols, reports, and summaries.
  • Interest in oenology and fermented beverage production.
  • Valid driver's license.
