Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor a comprehensive fundraising strategy to grow philanthropic support.
  • Develop strategic relationships within the philanthropy and business communities to enhance visibility and financial support.
  • Cultivate and strengthen existing donor relationships and manage donor accounts.
  • Develop and implement a gift acceptance policy and due diligence process.
  • Research and maintain a portfolio of potential donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
  • Leverage networks to secure new contacts and funders.
  • Ensure consistency in fundraising communications and oversee the preparation of fundraising materials.
  • Achieve defined KPIs and forecast revenue and expenses for the multi-year plan.
  • Develop systems for donor tracking and gift processing.
  • Manage a Fundraising Assistant.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or communication.
  • In-depth knowledge of philanthropy and luxury crafts industries.

Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills. Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic. Self-motivation and capability to work independently. Team player with the ability to build effective working relationships. Innovative and strategic thinker. Fluency in French and English; Italian is a plus. Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.

Experience

12+ years of management experience with a proven record of fundraising success and strategic program implementation.

Education

Master’s degree in business, marketing, or communication.
