Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop, roll out and deliver Visual Merchandising (VM) training tools, videos and webinar/instructor-led sessions for outlet teams regionally and in alignment with North America and Global VM strategies.
  • Identify, coach and nurture field-based VM talent through regular feedback, joint visits and structured development plans.
  • Create and implement VM Action Plans to support regional sales targets and elevate in-store product presentation and customer experience.
  • Lead planning and execution of VM initiatives including seasonal setups, new store openings, refits and monthly sales-floor mapping in partnership with Merchandising and Store Design.
  • Manage floor plans and ensure accuracy of store documentation; uphold photo compliance and Michael Kors Visual Standards across outlet doors.
  • Partner closely with Field Leadership and corporate partners to identify short- and long-term store-level opportunities and pilot Concept Door locations, testing and measuring results prior to wider rollout.
  • Communicate VM direction and brand values across multiple channels (conference calls, webinars, coaching) to ensure consistent execution and adoption of initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
  • Proven ability to deliver training and develop field talent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting VM direction across multi-site teams.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding store work.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability to travel approximately 50–80% of the time; flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management or a related discipline preferred.
