Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, interpret and communicate monthly floor set directives and the Floor Set Guide to the store team.
- Collaborate with store management and the VM Coordinator to install monthly floor sets and maintain visual integrity.
- Use store financial analysis and KPIs to inform product placement and optimise sell-through.
- Liaise with the VM Coordinator on stock levels and product placement throughout a merchandise life cycle.
- Apply and maintain all visual merchandising standards in accordance with the Visual Standards Guide.
- Verify adherence to standards using the Daily VM Checklist alongside store management.
- Support and train Client Service Professionals (CSPs) and store personnel in relevant visual guidelines and brand presentation.
- Ensure store team wardrobing reflects current brand image and seasonal direction.
- Participate in regional new store openings and provide ad hoc support to neighbouring stores according to business needs.
Qualifications
- Substantial, demonstrable experience in a visual merchandising role, preferably within a luxury or accessories-led retail environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate store KPIs into visual strategies that drive sales.
- Proven track record of delivering creative visual projects under tight timelines.
- Excellent verbal communication and coaching skills, with experience training retail teams.
- Keen trend awareness and in-depth knowledge of luxury brand positioning.
Skills
Experience
Substantial experience in visual merchandising, ideally gained within a luxury, accessory or fashion retail environment. The role requires hands-on execution of floor sets, experience using store financials and KPIs to influence presentation, and a proven record of training or coaching store teams and delivering creative projects.
Education
Secondary education plus vocational training or certification in visual merchandising, retail, fashion or a related discipline; or equivalent practical retail/VM experience.
