Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and coach the store team to achieve sales and service objectives while modelling brand behaviours and grooming standards.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop high-performing sales talent; implement retention, talent and succession plans.
  • Drive sales performance through quarterly business planning, KPI analysis, targeted coaching and effective use of clienteling tools.
  • Own operational delivery including inventory integrity, bi-annual inventories, loss prevention, store maintenance and cost control.
  • Manage rostering to ensure optimal coverage; monitor expenses and implement actions to improve store profitability.
  • Collaborate with District Manager, visual merchandising, logistics and product teams to optimise assortment, floor execution and local marketing events.
  • Resolve HR and customer-service escalations proactively, partnering with HR and LPRM as required.
  • Maintain and leverage the client database and company communication platforms to grow loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience with a fast-paced, customer-facing retailer, including responsibility for P&L and team leadership.
  • Demonstrable ability to recruit, develop and retain frontline retail talent and to deploy actionable talent and succession plans.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proficiency in Retail Math and KPI interpretation to translate reports into business plans.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Fluent English and strong capability to adopt and leverage retail technologies and clienteling platforms.

Experience

Substantial prior retail management experience within a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with a track record of leading teams to exceed sales targets, managing inventory and loss-prevention programmes, and executing collar-to-floor visual and commercial strategies.

Education

Secondary education required; degree or diploma in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Retail or a related discipline preferred.
