Michael Kors seeks a Store Manager, Lifestyle in Tysons, VA to lead a boutique team, drive omnichannel sales and build lasting client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a boutique team to deliver an elevated client experience and sustained sales performance.
  • Recruit, hire and retain top retail talent while executing ongoing performance management and training initiatives.
  • Drive sales and traffic through execution of a strategic business plan, community outreach, and in-store events.
  • Manage all store operations to ensure operational excellence, including inventory control, visual merchandising and loss prevention.
  • Build and maintain a client book through bespoke clienteling activities and relationship-driven selling.
  • Maximize omnichannel performance by leveraging available digital tools, store systems and cross-functional marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with corporate and cross-brand partners to execute promotional activity and local marketing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Store Manager at a specialty or luxury retailer.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with demonstrated results against sales and KPI targets.
  • Track record of recruiting, retaining and coaching high-performing retail talent.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience executing strategic sales plans and managing store operations.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Experience

At least 2 years’ experience managing a specialty or luxury retail store, with demonstrable results in team leadership, sales generation, client development and operational execution. Experience with omnichannel retailing and event-driven traffic generation is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related field preferred.
