Stock Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in driving sales results through strategic, operational initiatives.
• Supervise and coach stockroom and cashier teams, providing day-to-day direction and training.
• Manage receipt, processing and documentation of merchandise shipments; report and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure selling floor is consistently stocked, organised and compliant with visual merchandising directives.
• Lead and participate in inventory counts; communicate replenishment and inventory needs to meet business goals.
• Operate and understand all management register/POS functions and other operational systems.
• Utilise company tools to optimise department performance, replenishment and stock-flow strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of high-volume retail experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to lead and develop frontline teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage inventory cycles and stockroom operations.
• Customer-centric mindset with a track record of supporting sales productivity and elevated service.
• Flexible availability to support retail operations and periodic inventory or visual merchandising projects.
• Preferred: self-starter attitude, strong time-management and project skills, and technological aptitude for retail systems.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in high-volume retail with demonstrated leadership of stockroom or sales support teams, proficiency in inventory control and experience executing visual merchandising and inventory counts.
