Stock Associate

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and accurately process incoming merchandise and shipments.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient inventory retrieval and visual standards.
• Replenish the sales floor and execute markdowns, transfers and backstock moves as directed.
• Support inventory control through cycle counts, stock reconciliations and discrepancy reporting.
• Assist sales team with product pulls, special requests and floor set changes.
• Maintain loss-prevention, safety and housekeeping standards in the stockroom and receiving area.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise and boxes regularly; physical stamina for stockroom duties.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow directional and task-based instructions.
• Previous retail, stockroom or warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Previous experience in retail stockroom, receiving or warehouse operations is preferred; candidates with transferable retail or logistics experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
