Stock Associate (Part-time, Warehouse)

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat, organized and fully stocked selling floor and stockroom; execute visual and merchandising directives as required.
• Manage inventory processes in the stockroom and on the selling floor, including replenishment, tagging and accurate stock placement.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties in accordance with company protocols; complete and reconcile all associated paperwork.
• Participate in cycle counts and full-store inventories; support discrepancy investigations and corrective actions.
• Comply with Point-of-Sale policies and procedures and execute relevant register functions accurately.
• Adhere to scheduled shifts and time-and-attendance policies; attend mandated training and development sessions.
• Deliver excellent customer service on the sales floor, assist clients when needed and escalate/resolving client concerns to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends and peak retail periods.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and routinely lift, carry and move merchandise (typical requirement up to 50 lbs).
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with Point-of-Sale/register operation; strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
• Prior retail or warehouse experience preferred; experience with shipping/receiving procedures and inventory systems is an advantage.
• Forklift or pallet-jack certification preferred but not required.

Experience

Ideally 1+ year of retail or warehouse experience supporting stockroom operations, shipping/receiving and inventory control; equivalent combination of on-the-job experience and training will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.
