Michael Kors seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Mashantucket, USA to drive sales and build client relationships through elevated customer service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through proactive selling and relationship development.
  • Deliver an elevated level of customer service, build repeat clientele and maintain the client book for long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and present merchandise in a manner consistent with brand standards.
  • Manage post-sale details including shipping, alterations coordination and special client requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Process Point-of-Sale transactions accurately and comply with all POS procedures and sales-related policies.
  • Support visual merchandising and floor moves; keep selling floor and stockroom organized, stocked and presentation-ready.
  • Participate in inventory counts, training sessions and meetings as directed by store management.
  • Represent the brand professionally at all times and resolve client issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience; prior experience in luxury, fashion or boutique environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and develop client relationships (clienteling experience preferred).
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills and a customer-focused demeanour.
  • Availability to work a flexible, part-time schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as required.
  • Attention to detail, reliability in attendance and the ability to follow brand policies and merchandising standards.
  • Native American preference will be applied where applicable in accordance with tribal laws.

Experience

Prior retail sales experience is required; experience within luxury fashion or a boutique environment and a proven track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating repeat clientele is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal education in retail, fashion or hospitality is an advantage but not required.
