Michael Kors in Los Angeles seeks a Part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service, manage store operations and meet sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals through proactive selling and client engagement.
  • Deliver elevated levels of customer service consistent with luxury brand standards.
  • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge across merchandise assortments and translate features into client value.
  • Manage post-sale details including shipping, alterations and special requests to ensure complete client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and maintain a repeat clientele using the client book and follow-up procedures.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain brand reputation.
  • Maintain an organized, well-stocked selling floor and assist with stockroom inventory management.
  • Support shipping, receiving and related paperwork in line with store protocols.
  • Participate in stock counts, training sessions and store meetings as directed by management.
  • Adhere to Point-of-Sale policies and properly execute all relevant register functions.
  • Comply with company policies, attendance requirements and store operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of retail sales experience.
  • Demonstrable clienteling skills and experience building repeat clientele.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proven record of resolving client issues.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale procedures and cash/register handling.
  • Excellent product knowledge and an active interest in fashion and market trends.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.

Experience
