Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive client engagement and upselling.
  • Deliver elevated, personalised customer service and cultivate long-term client relationships via clienteling and a maintained client book.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge and communicate merchandise value and features to clients.
  • Manage post-sale details including shipping, alterations and special client requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom standards: merchandising, replenishment, organization and participation in inventories.
  • Execute Point-of-Sale transactions accurately and comply with all cash-handling, shipping/receiving and sales-related procedures.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally to preserve brand reputation and ensure repeat business.
  • Attend and participate in training, development sessions and store meetings as directed by management; adhere to scheduled hours and time-and-attendance policies.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the United States.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a client-first orientation.
  • Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems, with attention to accuracy and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Keen interest in fashion, market trends and the Michael Kors brand aesthetic.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to handle routine stock tasks (receiving, lifting boxes).

Experience

Previous retail sales experience is preferred; experience with luxury or premium brands and clienteling is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional retail, fashion or customer-service coursework is a plus.
