Retail Sales Associate

Role & Responsibilities

• Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive client engagement and consultative selling.
• Develop and maintain lasting client relationships using the client book and personalised follow-up to drive repeat business.
• Deliver an exceptional, luxury-level customer experience at every touchpoint, resolving client issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain immaculate visual presentation of the selling floor and merchandise, ensuring products are stocked, merchandised and rotated according to brand standards.
• Execute all Point-of-Sale operations, register functions and sales-related paperwork accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Manage inventory, receiving and shipping processes; participate in stock counts and ensure stockroom organisation and control.
• Coordinate special requests, alterations and shipping logistics to ensure a seamless post‑purchase experience.
• Attend and engage in scheduled training, development seminars and store meetings as directed by store management.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering excellent client service.
• Strong product knowledge and an active interest in fashion and market trends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and manage client expectations.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems, inventory control procedures and basic retail operations.
• Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, and reliable time and attendance.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience; experience in luxury or premium fashion retail strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
