Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders and upload final order quantities and costing into PLM.
  • Assist with ordering, tracking and receiving post-market/ad samples and manage Mainline & Outlet TOP sample processes.
  • Support new factory onboarding (RLM entries, contract setup forms) and maintain the master vendor chart.
  • Communicate daily with vendors and agents to convey changes and updates throughout production.
  • Update and maintain delivery exceptions (extensions, early shipments, air shipments) in RLM and track global FGPO booking reports.
  • Coordinate bulk delivery schedules with overseas factories and the logistics team; update reports for weekly publication.
  • Manage ECOM copy requests and maintain tracking documentation.
  • Review and update Style Master Data extracts in RLM, assign UPC descriptions for all SKUs and issue UPC information to factories each season.
  • Maintain and disseminate global shipping manuals and packaging standards/changes.
  • Handle physical sample logistics including carrying/unpacking boxes and moving clothing racks as required.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years production experience in apparel, ready-to-wear, accessories or footwear.
  • Excellent follow-up, negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel; strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with PLM and RLM systems preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Physical ability to move samples and garments; able to carry/unpack boxes and manage clothing racks.
  • Available to work on-site in the New York area 3–4 days per week.

Experience

0–2 years of production experience in apparel or accessories, with exposure to purchase order administration, vendor communication and sample logistics preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel Production, Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
