Outbound Transportation Administrator

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for carriers, vendors and suppliers to ensure timely outbound deliveries to retail, wholesale and e‑commerce channels across EMEA.
• Liaise with retail stores and internal stakeholders to provide delivery updates, resolve delivery inquiries and manage expectations during exceptions.
• Coordinate carrier pick‑ups, follow up on collections (including pallets) and support preparation and processing of required shipping documentation.
• Maintain and update transit and return reports to monitor outbound performance, identify improvement opportunities and support KPI analysis.
• Prepare and submit damage or delay claims in line with company policy and carrier agreements; collect data for statistical reviews.
• Support the resolution of transport‑related issues with carriers, suppliers and cross‑functional teams and provide general administrative support to the outbound team.

Qualifications

• Minimum MBO plus level (or equivalent vocational qualification).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to work as a self‑starter in a fast‑paced environment and to build effective working relationships across functions.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain and transportation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or demonstrable willingness to develop Excel skills.

Experience

Preferred 1–2 years' experience in logistics and/or transportation, ideally supporting outbound distribution, carriers and returns within a retail or wholesale environment.

Education

Minimum MBO plus level or equivalent vocational degree.
