Michael Kors is hiring an Outbound Transportation Administrator in Venlo, Netherlands to manage shipping documentation, coordinate carriers and maintain TMS/ERP records.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify and file shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs paperwork and export documents in accordance with legal and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and files within Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP; ensure timely system updates reflecting shipment status.
  • Coordinate daily with carriers, warehouses and internal stakeholders to confirm schedules, resolve queries and support load planning.
  • Monitor outbound shipments, escalate delays or discrepancies to transportation management and follow through on resolutions.
  • Compile and distribute transportation activity reports, cost analyses and carrier performance metrics to inform operational decisions.
  • Audit shipping data and documentation for completeness and compliance; verify carrier adherence to contractual service levels.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain administration supporting outbound operations.
  • Familiarity with domestic and/or international transportation documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

Experience

Between one and three years of hands-on experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain administration, with demonstrated exposure to shipping documentation and operational coordination in a fast-paced commercial environment. Experience in retail, fashion or luxury goods logistics is advantageous.

Education

Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.
