Michael Kors seeks a Maintenance Mechanic in Venlo, Netherlands to maintain conveyor systems, motors and building installations (Full-time).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
  • Conduct daily system walks and inspections to identify and rectify potential failures or safety hazards.
  • Execute general building maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs.
  • Follow and enforce maintenance safety programs, including lock-out/tag-out and fall protection procedures.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs and preventive maintenance using IT systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with site procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Work on-site in shifts and support both indoor and external facility maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems.
  • Experience working in a distribution centre or warehouse environment.
  • Competency with manual and electric hand tools and basic computer skills for documentation.
  • Willingness to work at height and to work periodic shift patterns.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and eagerness to develop technical skills.
  • English language required; German or Dutch language skills preferred.

Experience

Practical hands-on experience in maintenance within a distribution centre or industrial environment, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and PLC-controlled systems. Prior exposure to preventive maintenance programs and working in shift patterns is expected.

Education

Vocational qualification or technical diploma in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance trade, or equivalent practical experience.
