Michael Kors in Birmingham (Bullring) seeks a Part‑time Key Holder to support store leadership, coach staff, manage clientelling and drive sales.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire and coach the in‑store team while partnering with the host store to cultivate a culture of accountability, high performance and inclusive customer service.
  • Assist store management with onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members to ensure consistent delivery of brand standards.
  • Drive exceptional customer experiences in‑store and via virtual shopping channels, prioritizing client retention and loyalty.
  • Maintain and proactively manage the client database; ensure MK Ambassadors use all clientelling apps and tools to sustain client communication and grow sales.
  • Set, communicate and monitor sales targets and KPIs, ensuring each team member understands their contribution to commercial objectives.
  • Promote a proactive approach to loss prevention and collaborate with store leadership to address security and shrinkage concerns.
  • Utilize company communication platforms effectively and execute required operational updates and actions.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and coach colleagues with empathy, clarity and respect for diverse working styles.
  • Comfortable with technology and committed to using digital tools to enhance the customer experience.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to perform under changing retail conditions.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with retail KPIs and practical proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Experience

At least 2 years of hands‑on retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium retail; prior key‑holder or supervisory experience is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; further study or vocational training in retail, fashion or business is preferred.
