Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and month-end close for US wholesale divisions.
  • Analyze sales, margin and operating expense trends for the Wholesale division and identify drivers of performance.
  • Consolidate US and Canadian wholesale reporting to produce a comprehensive North America wholesale view.
  • Manage financial oversight of Global Production, Design and Merchandising expenses.
  • Partner with the divisional president and cross-functional stakeholders to prepare financial presentations for the CEO and senior executives.
  • Compile and review wholesale financials and disclosures in preparation for quarterly earnings releases.
  • Perform ad hoc scenario analysis and special projects to inform strategic decisions for wholesale leadership.
  • Manage and mentor one Financial Analyst, including delegation, review and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum seven years of progressive finance or FP&A experience in a fast-paced, analytical role.
  • Proven leadership and ability to build strong internal partnerships across functions.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in evolving, high-pressure environments.
  • Track record of identifying process improvements and driving efficiency.
  • Advanced quantitative aptitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Project management capability from concept through to execution.

Experience

At least 7 years of finance or FP&A experience, preferably within retail or consumer goods and ideally within a public company. Experience leading forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes, preparing executive-level presentations and mentoring junior analysts is required. Background in licensing accounting, earnings-preparation and multi-market consolidation is a strong plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
