Deputy Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store performance by delivering an elevated, consistent client experience and meeting sales targets.
- Lead and execute opening/closing procedures and daily operational tasks to ensure smooth store functioning.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team on product knowledge, styling, selling techniques and clienteling.
- Build and maintain a personal client book; cultivate lasting client relationships to drive repeat business and traffic.
- Activate and optimise omnichannel sales by leveraging available digital and in-store tools and processes.
- Support visual merchandising standards and ensure the selling floor reflects brand presentation guidelines.
- Manage inventory control, loss-prevention practices and stock replenishment in collaboration with store leadership.
- Assist with recruiting, scheduling and performance management to uphold staffing levels and service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant retail management experience, preferably within luxury, premium or fashion retail.
- Proven ability to coach and inspire teams, with demonstrable leadership and people-development experience.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving sales and achieving KPIs in a fast-paced store environment.
- Exceptional clienteling and customer service skills with a passion for styling and fashion.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of hands-on retail management experience, ideally within luxury or premium fashion, with a track record of coaching teams and meeting sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management or a related discipline preferred.
