Role & Responsibilities

  • Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to all point-of-sale policies and procedures.
  • Deliver warm, professional customer service: greet customers, respond to inquiries, determine needs and direct clients to appropriate sales associates.
  • Assist with merchandise handling: unpack, hang or fold stock, secure security tags and support visual merchandising and floor moves.
  • Support sales associates in resolving client issues and perform additional sales support tasks as business needs require.
  • Comply with work schedule, time and attendance requirements and store operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic numeracy and proven cash-handling accuracy.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and learn retail technology quickly.
  • Capable of performing light physical tasks including unpacking, hanging/folding merchandise and moving displays.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays; punctual and reliable.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
