Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and store sales performance; meet individual and store targets and communicate business results to the team.
  • Lead by example to deliver an elevated level of customer service; develop and coach associates in clienteling and sales techniques.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the Store Manager in their absence, including decision-making and store leadership.
  • Oversee store operations including cash controls, safe and bank deposits, petty cash, register management and participation in inventories.
  • Support loss prevention, physical security and adherence to risk-management procedures.
  • Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives; ensure the selling floor is organized and presentation standards are met.
  • Manage recruitment support, onboarding, ongoing training, performance evaluation and day-to-day HR issues in partnership with corporate HR.
  • Ensure timely processing of deliveries, accurate inventory communication and resolution of product concerns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in specialty store management or equivalent supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales teams to achieve commercial targets.
  • Proven experience with cash handling, POS/register management and inventory control procedures.
  • Strong clienteling and customer service skills with the ability to resolve complex client issues.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and the capacity to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.

Experience

Minimum three years of retail experience, including one to two years in a specialty store management or assistant management role with responsibility for sales targets, staff supervision and operational tasks.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or diploma in business, retail management or fashion is preferred.
