Assistant Store Manager
Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Leidschendam‑Voorburg, Netherlands to lead sales, operations and team development at Mall of Netherlands.

Role & Responsibilities
- Co-lead store operations and collaborate with the management team to define and execute a proactive business strategy that meets operational budgets and sales targets.
- Inspire, coach and develop the store team to create a culture of accountability, high performance and exceptional customer service.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, manage the client database and deploy clienteling tools to increase customer engagement and lifetime value.
- Analyse performance reports and retail KPIs, then design and implement action plans to exceed expectations.
- Plan and support local customer events and client outreach initiatives to generate incremental revenue.
- Maintain inventory integrity through scheduled audits and bi-annual inventories, and ensure compliance with company operational procedures.
- Utilise company communication platforms effectively and act promptly on corporate updates and directives.
Qualifications
- Proven retail management experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, preferably within luxury or premium fashion.
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology to support sales and client engagement.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
- Familiarity with retail KPIs and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skills
Experience
Proven track record in retail and store management, including leading teams, delivering sales targets and managing day-to-day boutique operations in a fast-paced retail environment. Luxury or premium brand experience is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, retail management or fashion is advantageous.
