Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal and store sales performance to meet or exceed targets; model and coach high-impact selling techniques.
  • Ensure an elevated and consistent level of client service across the store; build and maintain repeat clientele through effective clienteling and support of associates' client books.
  • Support store operations including cash control, bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash and register management; understand and execute all management register functions.
  • Partner with the Store Manager on risk management, physical security and inventory control; participate in inventories and communicate product or inventory concerns promptly.
  • Implement and maintain merchandising and visual directives; ensure the sales floor is organized, on-brand and that deliveries are processed in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, onboard and train sales associates; evaluate performance, deliver ongoing feedback and support training program follow-up.
  • Resolve client and associate issues professionally and expediently; partner with HR on complex human resources matters.
  • When required for the role (offsite responsibilities), drive product to and from offsite locations in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience with 1–2 years in specialty retail management or assistant management role.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate sales teams to achieve commercial objectives and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of inventory management, cash control procedures, register operations and loss-prevention practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience resolving customer complaints and handling HR-related issues; able to partner effectively with HR departments.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record when position requires offsite driving (only applicable for roles with driving responsibilities).

Experience

Minimum three years of retail experience, including one to two years in a specialty retail management or assistant management capacity.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
