Assistant Store Manager
Michael Kors seeks an Assistant Store Manager for Lenox Square, Atlanta to drive sales, lead team performance and deliver elevated client service.

Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and achieve personal and store sales targets through active selling and coaching of the team.
- Track, monitor and communicate business results and KPIs to support performance improvement.
- Lead by example to ensure an elevated level of sales and customer service across all associates.
- Coach and develop selling skills and product knowledge among sales staff to maximize conversion and average transaction value.
- Maintain compliance with all sales-related policies, cash handling procedures and store security protocols.
- Manage operational duties including register functions, bank deposits, safe and petty cash, and participation in physical inventories.
- Support merchandising and visual directives: maintain a polished sales floor, process deliveries and communicate inventory needs.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly; build and maintain repeat clientele through clienteling and effective use of client books.
- Assist in recruitment, training, performance evaluation and development of store staff; ensure grooming and brand image standards are upheld.
- Partner with HR on employee relations and payroll integrity; provide follow-up for training programs and seminars.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in retail; luxury or premium fashion experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing sales teams.
- Exceptional customer-service orientation with strong clienteling skills.
- Demonstrated experience with cash handling, POS/register operations and inventory control.
- Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills; ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to drive product offsite when required (if applicable).

Experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium fashion; demonstrable success driving sales, managing inventories and coaching teams to achieve business results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
